Reccently I have been using Padlet with a Year 2 class, but I have used it mostly with Stage 2 and 3.
The reason I love Padlet so much is that the students can all contribute to the Padlet in real time and as they type it appears on everyone else's screen.
I mainly use it for students to record research or ideas in a group session. I use it a bit like an electronic brainstorming.
The other reason I like Padlet is that it is super simple to use.
Here is the current Padlet I am working on in Year 2. This is the home Padlet page.
Year 2 Water Padlet
From here you can go to the 'expert groups' pages. The students were broken into different expert groups to research different aspects of water.
They will then share their knoweldge with other groups and complete a written task using what they learned.
Padlet is free and super simple to use (for kids and adults) and the students love using it!
